Toshiba CM1 Tablet PC For Kids
Toshiba has collaborated with Intel to develop the CM1 tablet PC. Designedfor kids, the 10.1-inch tablet PC is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and a LED-backlit touchscreen display (1366 x 768). The CM1 tablet also features a rugged, shock-resistant design and a spill- resistance keyboard to protect the underlying hardware from accident damage. Additional specs include a 2GB memory, a 160GB hard drive, stereo speakers, a rotatable webcam, a couple of USB ports, and Microsoft Windows 7 Professional. The Toshiba CM1 can also wirelessly connect with electronic blackboards and projectors to enable students to collaborate and present class work. The Toshiba CM1 tablet will be launched in the Japanese market starting August 2010.
Specification include Intel Atom N450 processor (1.66GHz), 10.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display (1366x768), 2GB memory, 160GB hard drive,wireless, stereo speakers, rotatable webcam, 2 USB ports, and Windows 7 Professional.
It is designed for kids, and today we have a new portable machine targeted towards education segment. Developed by Toshiba and Intel, the CM1 tablet PC is an 10.1-inch machine powered by Intel's Atom processor. Interesting thing about this machine is that it features a convertible touchscreen display, making it a worthy candidate for use in schools.
